About Me
I grew up in Austintown, Ohio — right in the heart of the Mahoning Valley. I know this community. I know what it means to drive 45 minutes to see a specialist, to take half a day off work for a medical appointment, or to simply go without care because the logistics make it feel impossible. That experience never left me, even as I went on to train at Northeast Ohio Medical University, complete my internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic, and finish my sleep medicine fellowship at Rush University in Chicago. The further my training took me, the clearer it became that the patients who needed the most help were often the ones with the least access to it. I came back to Northeast Ohio because this is home — and because I believe the Mahoning Valley and the communities surrounding it deserve the same quality of care available in any major city.
The Mission
Distance should never stop someone from getting evidence-based medical care. That sounds simple, but for millions of Ohioans — especially in rural and underserved areas — it is the daily reality. A patient in Adams County driving an hour each way to see a specialist. A working parent in Youngstown who cannot leave work at 2pm for a daytime appointment. A senior in Columbiana County who no longer drives but still has a blood pressure that needs managing.
Technology can bridge that gap. Telehealth done right — by a real physician, with real clinical training, available at the times people actually need care — is not a lesser version of medicine. It is medicine meeting people where they are.
